Being 19 in las Vegas
Old enough to buy cigarettes
Too young to buy beer
No clubs for us to go to
what is there to do here ?
House parties aren't safe
And the strip ain't no fun
every bodies pregnant
And everyone has a gun
Girls with straight A's
now on crack
And the girl from next door
Is now on the track
Your cousin is gay
you got gangstas on the downlow
Everyone's fucked everyone
As Vegas beings to grow
No ones in college anymore
Everyone's dropped out
Living with their parents
Just waiting to move out
everything is open 24 hours a day
7 days week
It's hard for us to get jobs
Cause they say our resume is weak
So as we wait for our big break
We chill at home at smoke
Plan out our life
And just pray and hope
That one day we will get out
out of our parents house
Then out of las Vegas
Away from the chaos
Away from familiar faces
A new surrounding
No one gave us directions
On how to embrace the changes
That we're so suddenly gonna
Happen after graduation.
A day living in las Vegas
Is just an ordinary day
Nothing ever changes
There's no other way
I'm fromm the east side of las Vegas
But we've all seen every inch of las Vegas
And we're only 19
Nothing is here for us
All we have are fake friends
And good associates.
I'm sorry about how things
I'm sorry about how things are being a young adult in Vegas :( But, this gives off a powerful imagery and emotion to me and that's really amazing
the same thing that goes on
the same thing that goes on round here...
you laugh at me because I am differant, I laugh at you because You are all the same ...(KoRn) J.D......
