Masked Faces

Masked Faces

('The Man' refers to a 'Perfect Man' in this poem)

Where am I to find ‘The Man’, in a vast sea of ocean?

I see millions and billions and trillions of human faces;

Yet, I’m to find ‘The Man’ Who is so  genuine; and

A perfect realistic model, to everyone on Earth!

Humans as they are called, are slaves of their own problems?

Yet they make no effort to break their eternal bondage of jealousy.

How long can you pull on with your treacherous mask intact?

Don’t you know the face is the index of the mind?

The reality that no one can deny is the vindictiveness of this world;

Why not you tear of your transient mask to reveal your real identity?

The day that I see your face is the ‘Day’ that I like to face;

Will I be able to see ‘The Man with the real face’?

Author's Notes/Comments:

People who are vindictive and jealous seem to put on a mask to wreck vengeance on others and destroy them in and out.
