Dr. APJ, you broke off from nowhere,
Down from the South to the pinnacle of glory;
You live in the minds of, not just a billion
But in trillions when your great thoughts go viral!
The gentleness of breeze is no match,
As your thoughts breeze past each Indian mind;
They fill us with visions of future and a ‘Supreme India’
That would show the world the knowledge of power and technology.
You are the temple of knowledge and wisdom;
For you have shown us the way to do India proud;
The seeds of love, peace and tranquility,
Would, some day sprout and make us multifaceted.
You live more in the minds of our young kids,
Rather than the slumbery minds of the past;
You have awakened the future citizens of India,
By making them dream of a ‘Super India’.
We know, hardly a few leaders chose;
Chose to touch the minds of the lively Indian kids;
But you, you were quite exemplary in your approach;
Nevertheless, our kids have chosen to emulate you.
When usually most leaders prefer to bang in air,
You have set us a goal; and no doubt we’ll achieve it.
You have given our youngsters a target to hit at,
And they know, what they should aim at.
Your fiery birds, we reckon, will penetrate and destroy,
The evil thoughts and the mental barrier of each Indian,
No doubt, we will shoot up using ‘APJ Technology’
And show the world that we are the ‘Mighty Indians’.
Oh! Great Kalaam! You are a man of a different caliber;
It’s not that easy to match your immaculate personality;
For your simplicity and the way you led youngsters from front,
Make each Indian feel extremely proud of you.
