Between The Rain
Winter sprinkles its falling dust once more
Past the red and gray
behind blue eyes
that struggle in the blind
where tears freefall from cheek to shoulder
As I hold her
standing in my own rain
Pouring silently so I don't choke
all those around me
while I break in my own ache
which is nothing compared to her pain
Yet she still tells me to Believe
Prayers-Hopes-Wishes
All crumbling as you kneel before the rock
the one that is solid in strength
as you try holding on
Praying
Hoping
Wishing
Having Faith that this Truth
about a beautiful Daughter who was there
for everything, for everyone
in the beginning, in the end
To bring the light of love to her parents life
to hold their hands as the Angels brought them Home
About a beautiful Mother who is the magnificent mountain
between the green valleys
The great divide
that brings us all home into the comfort of her arms
Where warmth of a Mothers Love
is a cure for everything
From a broken heart
to a scrape on the knee
no divisions, no differences
not to Her, not to our Mother
In these days where Winter still hangs
I know the end has only begun once again
And no amount of
Prayers
Hopes
Wishes
can do anything about it
Yet when I look into her eyes
past the pain
I feel the Faith of my beautiful Mother
lighting the tunnel from her heart
touching me with a sacred glow
letting me know
in these times of change
God needs a special Angel
and he is calling my Mother Home
I just don't want her to suffer too much
before she is ready to let go
So when you feel it's time
Fly Mom Fly
and always remember
We Love You
Your Proud Children
