It started with a whisper
softly singing to my heart
words so beautiful,
speaking to me from the start.
I followed her rhythm
the tenderness with which she spoke,
words from heaven, gently raining down
my heart captured, with barely a sound.
From a whisper to a dream
With the beating of her heart
her beauty uncomparable,
I knew it from the start.
I told her in so many ways
with words from within how this heart feels,
from simply a man
with a love so real.
From a whisper to a dream
to a dream come true,
when my angel said
"My Darling, I Love You"
