I can see clearly my dream last night
God! what a wonderful sight.
You were so beautiful
dancing in the moon's shadow.
A Princess surrounded by men
each waiting for a new dance to begin
your laughter and charm so captivating,
your smile so illuminating.
I awaited in the distance for my turn
simmering with fire in a slow burn,
you turned to me and held out your hand
all of a sudden I got weak and could hardly stand,
God, you were so beautiful
soft, tender flesh in the moon's shadow.
Your eyes drew me to you
in a vast ocean of blue,
God, you were so beautiful
as you slid into my arms in the moon's shadow.
We danced and danced long into the night
as we both held on tight
and as my dream was ending
it was only the beginning.
We shall have many more nights like this,
the touch of our lips
the passion of our kiss
making love so beautiful,
each night's dream in the moon's shadow.
