Walking Away
What's love sweet love,
is it just a word
or a feeling inside?
Is it something you can fill your heart with
or something you want to hide?
Times change, yet we still arrange
our needs to work around
all that we long for, all that we want,
be damned past images that haunt!
What's love sweet love,
just a word?
That's absurd!
Love has to come from within
you can't disguise it,
it's where we began.
Sometimes life gets crazy in the world of reality
and you do what you feel you have to do,
that doesn't mean I don't love you
or that you don't love me,
nor does it mean we were only a fantasy.
What's love sweet love,
never just a word
and sometimes it has to be ok,
to just walk away.
