So Far Away



You have no idea what it feels like

to know your in the arms of another,

I know we are just friends

and so far away,

but my feelings for you grow fonder

each and every day



I can't help these feelings that feel so good,

full of warmth and a longing for more

yet knowing you are so far away is understood



I think about how he looks at you and see's your beauty

how he smells the fragrance of your hair

does he think what I think,

when sliding his hand down your soft flesh so bare?



I know I have no right to feel such jealousy

when we are just friends so far away

yet my heart shudders,

knowing its not me.

He gets to open your doors and pull out your chairs

knowing he has every man's envy

as he is graced with true beauty,

right or wrong

I am here wishing it were me



I know one thing my love,

even though we are so far away

my words to you are true

and no matter what he does or has to say,

remember my words to you



I will always be your friend no matter what
