Some call me a "Ramblin Gamblin Man"

some say I'm a wild "Highway Child"

But I always come back "Down Home"

to my "River Deep-Mountain High" stream

forever "Leanin On My Dream"



I look out the window to a "Brand New Morning"

I look back as you turn down the covers and "Turn On Your Love Light"

I look into your eyes and know that "Someday"

there will be a "Long Song Comin" our way



I realize "Back In 72"

I was your "Midnight Rider"

But "20 Years From Now"

as we "Turn The Page"

Will I still "Need Ya"

and will "All Your Love" still rage?



Sometimes I look in the mirror and see a "Beautiful Loser"

a man who could get lost in a "Ship Of Fools"

But then I remember a beautiful night in "Katmandu"

where we kissed and held hands down on "Mainstreet"

ending in an evening of "Night Moves" shared between me and you



We are "Still The Same" you and I

not just "Brave Strangers" but beautiful arrangers

Maybe we "Ain't Got No Money" honey

but we sure got "The Fire Down Below"

and I know

"We've Got Tonight"
