If only I could show you,

If only I could let you know.

Just what you mean to me,

And how I love you so.

Would it make a difference?

Would it be to late?

We couldn’t leave our partners,

Because us they would always hate.

But yet my heart won’t let me,

Give my self to him.

You can’t give your soul to someone.

And have something left to give.

I have never felt your touch,

Nor your tender caress.

But that doesn’t make me,

Love you any less.

You are the one, who holds my thoughts,

Every woken moment, and even when I sleep.

How can I give my heart to him?

When my feelings run so deep.

How can I let myself?

Love another man.

When I love you more,

Then any other person can.

I know we can never be together,

But we will never be apart.

As you will always remain,

The light within my heart
