snapping peas
At the restaraunt where I work
I sat snapping peas
yesterday for a countless amount
of minutes, plucking them
from the sanctity
of their smooth pod. I discovered
such a variety beyond the classic
six or seven that you would normally
encounter.
1 pea in a pod; one
lonely little pea.
2 peas in a pod, like us
before the storm came in.
3 peas in a pod, when there
should only be two.
even just a pod.
just a pod with no peas.
