Fast orbiting universe leaves my
mind to wonder. Sometimes, I feel
my thoughts have wandered enough,
digging the unknowable means and
reasons of nature, of fate, of God.
Curiosity is murdering me; and when I
look up to see what’s in between the
constellation, I am left to drown in
my own pocket-sized thoughtlessness.
I’m among the occupants of this vast
orbiting orb crammed with unrequited
queries. And I sometimes wonder if there
are other kinds outside earth. Surely God
would not make a huge territory only to
spend half of it in profligacy.
