Let me hear it once again

i want to revisit my former den

where there was no fence

to confine my independence

Let me hear it once again

yesterday was better to tend

no wounds no scarce to mend

everyday was a good day to spend

Let me hear it once again

those days i had longed spent

no labors no efforts to extend

just to frolic with all my friends

Let me hear it once more

i terribly missed the days of soar

all that I did was to play in the shore

be really jolly and ecstatic at the core

Mother let me hear you sing it again

let me hear you sing me that lullaby

when rain falls down i am at your bosom

to comfort me against the raging storm

Oh God let me hear it for the last time

too much madness fills my mind

i want to pause to see the olden times

Please God allow me once more to unwind
