Over Indulgence

Special offers, two for one,
Extra value, when gone it's gone.
Need to purchase, just can't resist,
Must have bargains, nothing’s missed.

Fridge now bursting, food out of date,
Started smelling but bin can't take.
Brag about saving, no offers missed,
And still we buy, still can't resist.

Children starving, but do we care,
Not intentional, it's their affair.
Supermarkets fault but whose to blame,
Third world countries think we’re insane.

Bargain offers should not be ceased,
It’s not our fault that we’re obese.
As the more we buy the more we save,
And the more we’ll send to a landfill grave.
