If You Have Built Castles in the Air Read On, If Not Ok 2

Wow, Henry David Thoreau

not sure which way to go

but I sure know

I wanna be part of this show

built castles in the air

dare I go there

to try to create foundations

such imaginations

thrive in my soul

it's a challenging goal

I want to go there

high in the sky

get grounded somewhere

not quite sure why

I think I'd rather fly

than be grounded

gotta do both to be well-rounded

I guess

yet I jest

dare I digress

guess can only go down from up

rather come up from down

yes that's true, yup

turn a smile into a frown

no way not anyday

rather turn a frown into a smile

and run with it at least a mile

gotta consider this awhile

I love the premise of this clause

If you care to now's time for applause

I'm not afraid to say what's on my mind

points for bravery would be kind

just got the message that friends are the foundation

a total gift to drift from alienation all over the nation

so you can set your goals high

and depend on friends to get you by

somehow someway

maybe today

dying for comments here

hope I get at least one cheer

Yeah...ya!

ok time to go away...

bye til next time

I think up another rhyme

your poetry pal Pam

is all I am
