You see, I'm talkin' in present tense

All we have is the here and now

So let's take it & live it the best way we can



I don't like to dwell on the past

Just fills my mind up with regrets

Got no time to worry 'bout the future

What may be might never come to pass

If I don't use my time constructively

In the present is where I'm at



Thought I could wait til tomorrow

But tomorrow may never come

So I guess I'd better do it now

If I ever wanna get it done

There's not enough time to do all I wanna do

Should try to get as much as possible done
