Lust Versus Love Verses

Truth or dare

if you care

Lust versus love

Lust is not love

Love is not lust

Neither is just

written in concrete

need to be discreet

things can go both ways

or make you wonder anyways

why sometimes both work out

no matter what it's about

how did it start

does it smart

do you miss him when he's gone

or do just fine getting along

are you inexplicably drawn

or does he make you yawn

there's a thin line between love and hate

was it something that you ate

is there a thin line between love and lust

can we find a way to adjust

and which is better and why

can we find out or at least try

how do you know which it is

or if you should be his

or is this just

a test of lust

or test of love

need help from above

we are supposed to get

and try not to regret

is there a way

to get this some day

or be forever lost

in lust versus love

at what cost

enough is enough

sometimes never enough

of this kind of stuff

this subject is really tough

Can they be one in the same

or is this just a game

Author's Notes/Comments:

just a thought in my head I had to get said so invented this rhyme...possibly to be continued but it is what it is...hope you get it or can enlighten me on this subject...maybe they are one in the same someway and yet different...wow...way too philosophical...

Interesting, when I read your author comment all I can sayis there is nothing too philosophical because everyone has their own interpretation of things. Love is the affectionate part of feeling where lust is the physical for the physical has no heart it it it just exists to satisfy itself where love is all giving and unselfish-wthat's my take on the words haha..we all lust to be comfortable in whatever manner that may happen

I like this a lot and I agree with this point a lot especially that lust is not love. Great thoughts here.
