Well I woke up today

And the sun was smiling

Clouds were laughing at me

As they rolled on by



Birds were singing to me

Songs I'd never heard before

And they filled me with glee

A joy I'd never known before



Nature has a way of getting to me

Watching the leaves sway on every tree

The flowers are blooming

And their scents make sense to me



Nature is calling

And the leaves are falling

The seasons roll by

Oh, how I love the spring



Dawn's new awakening

The choices I'm making

More chances I'm taking

As the years roll by



Why'd it take me so long to discover

All the beauty that's out there

Waiting for me to uncover



Take a good look

Nature has a way

To make you see the beauty

Of every new day
