careful courage
castigates creativity
such marvelous minutiae
pleads life's sympathy
down to that of a misdemeanor
fiery flamboyance
remove the bayonet of your ire
mysteries are but
confiscated confetti
falling upon the head of
the lackluster mundane
the fragility of the way too forward
is left behind
amid the tangled consequences
groveling at this point
could only end up being
the acid reflux
of one's dignity................
