JOURNAL # 41

the sun that day was
absolutely delicious
the day itself draped in
an incalculable beauty
your touch was sweet
like a syllable of love
so softly spoken
with but a look
that precise moment
made love to me
I heard not the chirping
birds in the trees
I even grew deaf to the
gurgle of the nearby stream
all that my immediate awareness
could hear most clearly
was the beating staccato of
your excited heart for me
I cared not for the feel of the
blanket's edge nor the tickling
grass at my bared shoulder's curve
as you gently splayed me back
for I was happy and supremely content
lost in your eyes and hanging on your
every tenderly spoken words' lament
in those moments it was as if time itself
took a nap
and while it lightly dozed
our two spirits lovingly wed
I LOVE YOU!
so nothing else now need be said.......
