A STRANGER TO DELETION

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

Identity is not absolute
it's fluid and verbose
it crumbles under stress
and fractures in confession
it fluctuates beneath the weight
of diverse opinions
just as
forward is not a choice
it's an unarguable direction
that we are unknowingly motivated
by spirit alone to travel
feeling in the darkness with
our limited human minds for
scraps that will catapult us
into what we perceive as our
life's destiny
dare to see life in a far broader
perspective
gain insight in whatever manner
that you are able
but do so with a winner's confidence
clandestine is the student soul's
first right of passage
remarkable horizons yet flicker
like mere specks of dust in the
shadow of the ever rising sun
for the heart's truth of our very
beings
is but

Author's Notes/Comments:

Is hard to explain this one. This just blindly came to me and it was so clear and solid. The title came first a few minutes before the body of the poem and I actually for a brief moment fretted how am I to make sense of such a title but then a few minutes later the words began to flow and I knew as the words were flowing out of me that the title would some how come at the end and beautifully wrap everything up and low and behold IT DID! Imagine that!
