with such gravity
you came into my life
forcing the tedium to topple
and the darkness to turn to the light
such magnificent imperfect perfection
you exude
a desired trespass that merits such
fervent flight
an undeniably tender masculinity
you possess like that of a
mellifluous mosaic
a terribly sweet temptation you have
so gradually become
speaking as you do
to some long held promise
in my very soul
why, don't you know
you voice is absolute music
to my heart
quite the lyric to my song
and in the stillness of a quiet
somber thought
you return to me again and again
more and more valued than
why, 'My Very Next Breath'...............
