PAST PLEASURE PARTICIPLE

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

love's fallen state
mercy at misery's fate
I laugh at the simplicity
of the present tense
in woven language
we meet
so further into
each the others heart
we can infiltrate
sunken sensuous muses
we've become
treasures
that have out lived their flesh
too many times now since
the beginning to guess
how long we have been in limbo
as we were
though I know even without being told
by you
that you'd die for me
the same opposite still rings just as true
life is a dull option
if I cannot but live for you
so please, please
abandon me not to this sea of
shallowness
allow me to sew my lovelier sails
around your glorious proud mast
let the wind be our home
and allow these blessings that bathe us
to never tire of their cleanly habits
smiling now
I gather my bliss
I'm just a 'Past Pleasure Participle'
who cashed in her chips...............

Author's Notes/Comments:

Here I was mostly just having another love affair with words that simply just came to me. Who knows maybe this is a love poem for a love I have yet to write or love letters buried deep inside me that long ago never got written. Who can say but I must admit I enjoyed writing this one very much. As I hope do you too....................
