at some yet claimed level
a faint inner existence between us
lives on
though it is there
I sense it less
it's strength has metamorphosed
perhaps that is my cross to bear
a quiet nudging tells me
such admissions will graze but not shock you
at least not quite so entirely
as you have spiritually deepened so very much
you knew the trade offs as you prayed
when much is given
much is expected in return
so for an audience with God
the world in many forms
from you must fall away.....................
