want to get up and shut off
his television set
literary greats bridged from
books to stunning theatrical life
giving entertainingly lovely
and rich history lessons
hardly minded at all
eagerly sought rather
the 'Pitch And Lull' of
PBS, the Peoples' Broad Seduction
funded with pro arts' viewer's hard
won dollars donated
inviting the similarly alike minded
to come and dine on the likes
of Antique's Road show
or History Detectives
before moving on to absorb
facts and careful compilations
of the U.S. Civil War
through the lens of Ken Burns
James Lehrer, I love ya
you over made up old air bag
but Gwen Ifill will ever remain
my favorite broadcaster................
