mercy wears a ribbon
that God ties in a bow
around our hearts
as from him
many precious gifts
are uniquely given
we are thankful puddles
upon his rainy path
as random as the events
in the world seem
there is purpose behind
their every happening
accidents to the soul
are a dismissed thing
for every lesson
he wraps with a
careful goal
to better
the absolute purity
of each
our innermost being
I call this phenomenon
