so terribly true
these words they do
confess to themselves too
how so terribly
I miss you
and how it feeds something
so voraciously hungry in me
to hear you say how
you miss me so terribly too
your voice
your laugh
I'd daily die
any horrible death
just to hear either
along with
that sweet little
hum that you do
when you are
patiently waiting for me
to get you
don't you know
it gives me stronger legs
to get up and run to you
I am a drowning fool
in fact upon fact
trying as I am to swim
through
all these feelings I have
piling up in my deepest
self as they do
weighting me down
further into this
glorious abyss
made up of nothing but
my so beloved you
save me if you can
but only if by doing so
it saves you too
cause I couldn't bear it
if you didn't love me
as I'd love you to love me
'So True'
in union's perfection
onward through
ever growing closer as we do.............

So true indeed!
Dearest Melissa,
I am both pleased and sad reading this poem. I was pleased because you wrote this one beautifully and I enjoyed reading it, but at the same time, I feel your sadness between the honeyed lines of resignation and wanting to be loved.
I hope writing this has helped a little. My new year's wish for you is to find your heart's desire my sweet friend...
