he romanticized his own
foolish ignorance
broadly clashing
two proud but vastly
different civilizations
(the kingdom of old
verses the questionable republic
of new)
pitting ministry against ministry
firing and misfiring tensions
and nay saying any form of
descension
further corrupting the already
far too overly corrupt
falsely fathering the people
ignoring reality
to walk in his own
self constructed bubble's light
his defiance to change
monumental as it was
blended with his
out of touch finger
on the pulse of society
aided only in his
eventual deadly downfall
via the tripping of himself
over his own rotting ego
the world looked on
mesmerized
yet breathlessly elated
a day came so soon
the like it thought it would
never see so soon
his 40 year choke hold
was loosening at last
the people spat out
the foul taste
(for some of them)
of their life long
imprisonment
upon the tail of his
hasty coward's exit
from the limelight
life bloomed
to fully live once again...........
