I try to write
from the beautiful side
of love and life
emphatic opinions
on most anything
mean naught
if but truth and love
come with them not
from the deepest inner
chambers of their midst
so many speak without thinking
embrace without loving
hear without listening
look without seeing
comprehend without
fully understanding
only to then judge without knowing
there is so little to life
if one does not readily
recognize the integral threads
that entwine all of mankind
into and out of one another
gracefully without end
there is no us and them
that is just an illusion of
the human ego's whim
and every day of one's life
that is so ignorantly reinforced
by the media, the government,
religious constructs and even
so called family and friends
mark my words
we are all generally the same
we just live in different parts
of the world
speak different languages
and assume other identities
and names.................
