I played with Rick Springfield today
his voice was sexier than I'd remembered
Why,I'd even almost forgotten him
8th grade was such a long time ago
ah, but for 45 minutes
I was 14 again

I you tubed several old Rick Springfield videos starting with 'Don't Talk To Strangers' then moved on to 'Affair Of The Heart' to name a couple and for about 45 plus minutes I was 14 again and back in 8th grade eagerly awaiting one of his latest album releases so I could take my weekly allowance and run to K mart to buy it or on Saturday go up to the local mall and into National Record Mart to get it there and maybe if I was lucky a key chain of him or a Tiger Beat magazine whose cover he was gracing that week. Ah, the reminiscent, innocent joys of teenagedom....................but by tenth grade my fickle teenage worshipful heart had already moved on to Sting!
