an unforgettable ballet of love
we so dreamily share
so many beautiful aspects
of it
there are to enjoy
haunting music to
carry us away
here and there
sensuous beauty to absorb
amid
tragic moments to convey
so much drama
peppered with memorable humor,
loss and angst
the pageantry of love
takes always, center stage
the crescendo mounts
the audience holds its
besotted breath
the lovers
how their hearts
so unbridled now pronounce
while the landscape of the
lesser lovely figures
begins to dance
in the shadow draped background
in heart swelling conclusion's end
the world of theater is upon its feet
applauding bravo one, bravo all
as tears are streaming down their
hot flushed, happy cheeks
a surge of courage and hope
our ballet ere love it seems has
given
I can feel it now to my very feet
