behind the walls
of all this activity
so much yet known
construction
is quietly taking place
our mutual longing
is just the nails
for the building of this
yet risen
so breathtaking city
we pay our dues
suffering with so
little use
when it hurts so much
that tells me
the purpose is great
for God does not make
man suffer
for tiny insignificant things
we are thankful receptacles
tiny fissures in his grand
scale plans
that slowly h

and birth love into full being
