is your disbelief
a spat of sorts
on a long running
smooth phase
perhaps you are
truly still just busy
and yet a tinge of fear
creeps up my mind
wondering is your
renewed silence
a punishment to me
that you are brooding
to meter out
I've thought over the
damage from the storm
and logically let the dust
settle
my sincere olive branch
has been offered
and now I must see
in a manner of speaking
if the transplant takes
or is rejected
to this moment
you and time
hold all the cards
I am at best

soulfully waiting
