my darling

even though its

after the fact

for my discovering

your presence

upon this earth

is much too joyous

for my heart

to not in some way

overreact

encapsulated

as I am

by the breath and abundance

of your eternal love returned

the world can never know

not fully that is

though they may guess and guess

again

for by your alone, just being born

unto this plain

you've made one heart

the most thankful

of all living organisms

to be allowed now

to beat for you

and not only from now

is this day yours

but ever always mine now

too

because I must thank

this special date

for it brought into my

world

my so beloved you...................
