I skate
'In The Eyes Of Promise'
I bank on the fall of all the world's hate
man' existence is an unfinished canvas
while far too many remain fixated on fate
I see fate as flexible in many ways
as there are numerous crossroads
and variables to the out come of
our lives
certainly
we have a hand in what is permitted
to exit and or stay or arrive
but God's will plays a much larger role
time and time again he will
bring to us the same lesson
wrapped in a different more interesting
package for us to unfold
and examine
its only after the fact
we reflect and realize
hes given us another chance
to learn
that same lesson sent to us
so lovingly again
those OH I Got IT NOW moments
do not have to occur so rarely
insight is a beautifully evolving gift
experience and circumstance
can be remarkable teachers
but only in so far
if their pupils choose to pay attention
its a contract
this life we live
and we must do our part
love this life
good or bad
with a thankful happy heart
whether
tedious or enriched
the landscape is all beautiful
to the eyes of the soul
even though the physical self
it guides
may disagree far too many times
as it maneuvers through
negatives of such a role
tomorrow is a mystery
but you must love her with caution
for there will come a day when
she is no longer there
and your soul will have to answer
for you
what did you do with each today
you were given
live it like it was your last
or rather sit at home
dreaming about another day
that has yet come to pass
take a deep breath
and count your heart beats
and for those precious seconds
you can feel God infusing
this body with the life
he promised it
and always remember
no matter what your circumstance
you are living
you can feel
and have movement
and this life
is yours take charge of
and really live
with passion
energy
humor
and courage
but most of all
live it
fully
deep in the arms of
God's eternal love.......................\
