I loved your poem

though I've loved them all

each one a step you sprinted up

to get closer to my heart

this one beget so much

all consuming love

the truest sort

for the madness of

wanting such

distance between us

to be dashed

you made me feel as

timeless

as the constellations

like Andromeda herself

was my mere understudy

I've never been so lavished

with love

not like that

I've been thought well of

yes of course

remembered

even praised for an occasional

poem or mere letter or two

I've been embraced with

honest affection and

carefully respected by

my supposed peers

but you,

my most beloved brilliant sir

you absolutely swell my heart

with your tender trail of endless praise

and that's not my vanity speaking

it is that void that's always been in me

so voluptuously now being filled

by the magnificence that ever

likely always was

in a word
