we shall overcome these days of separation
my own thoughts in turn rang
the moon and the stars shall
help to fill the void in our
haunted hearts
the moorings of the deep love
that guides us
shall anchor promise
to the wake of art
with you I am able to connect with
the deeper meanings of life
you bring color and vibrancy
to dullness and stillness's strife
the woes of the world will not
trample our path
we walk with supreme purpose
all the while God was holding out
his two hands to both of us
brimming over with love
I understand the significance of
that more and more
faintly I hear the bells
its love
shes calling us home
I'm smiling now
cause I know I'll see you
someday very soon
at the very threshold
of everything we want......................
