WEEDING MAN'S GARDEN OF ILLUSIONS #

Folder:
JOURNAL #36

the world wages ever on

in the flow of its own way of glorifying God

as the sludge and muck of man's sins

continues to flow on as well

'tis the way of such river

no doubt

but so flows all the love and goodness

in the world too

those rivers and streams are just less

obvious

as for humans

its easier to see

the afflicted

more so than the astoundingly blessed

but to be fair

for some it must be difficult to witness

terrible happenings

like

murders

rapes

burglary

suicide

genocide

starvation of the masses

the fall out of war

entire groups of peoples

hating other peoples for

in many cases reasons

that don't seem quite sane

we each have our path to take

however terrible or wonderful

it may be

I, myself will never fully

understand all of these things

and why they must happen

other than God gave us

each free will

and in my realizing that

I realized that he is so fair

that he will not revoke

even the most heinous murderer's

free will

for God is perfect in his

grace

I feel great sorrow certainly

sometimes to the point I weep

for the terrible plight of

this or that tragic individual

and many a time I even

find myself saying there but for

the grace of God go I

but that forever that dozes within me

softly warns me not to judge

too hastily

it is human to feel empathy

and natural to want to help

some are self absorbing

and are little affected by those they

feel as lesser to themselves

but I view such arrogance of the ignorant

as a less yet advanced soul

and I pray for their enlightenment

but when one rises in themselves

and grapples to hold even a modicum of view

that the soul self obtains

then one gets a glimmer of an idea

that our purpose each is

ever the same really

we come to do no harm

to love and learn

with and from one another

not to hate, envy and or undermine

and be suspicious of

those are negative attributes

to the constantly evolving soul

too often we see things

for the most part from

our limited too human eyes

that is when we become saddened

or angered

but who are we to feel sad or angry over

another soul's circumstance

for that same person may look

at our circumstance if they really knew it

and judge us as the one in the hellish place

and not themselves

that is why all this I try to leave as best I can

up to God

for he sees all as it is and with perfect

vision

not from some flawed human eyes

backed by an ego laden mind that

judges many things without the full facts

he works his wonders through the lowliest

urchins in the street

or the highest powers in the echelons of

a most modern society

he chooses the least likely sources to

bring his goodness, grace and guidance into

our beautifully flawed ever changing world

we are warned to come into this world

as a lamb but be as clever as wolves

I do my best to see the beauty in

everyone

even the most unlovable

I pray for the misfortunate

and share in the triumphs

of those who were once

down trodden

and rose to be remarkable

in their own right

I cheer for the underdog

and relish anything

that helps those

who are trying hardest to

help themselves

when I turn my eyes too much

to the sadness of the world

to feel better I turn my eyes

to the Joy that is God

I trust in him implicitly

and know that no matter

how awful something on this earth

appears to me

that he is there Behind that awful thing and

working his will through every fiber

of its course

in all things we shall be fine

if we choose to leave their

out come always to God

for I truly do believe

he is the author and answer

to every aspect of our lives.............
