a sweet endearing
cheek
of granite
powerless to the weakness
of his needs
though
a tower of trusting male
the family pillar even
on which his dependents
heavily lean
still upon this dynamic
his lonely heart too often
impedes
but who props up he who
is forever propping up others
does not a tender strong heart
deserve a loving port
of that of the feminine sort
to take refuge in
I think love ties one up in its bonds
that bind almost as much as
the heartache of losing those
bindings makes one's heart
bleed
and so I steadfastly
choose to stick to the
as moments too make
their own memories
we too shall evolve
together
to better be
