first impression
piled upon
first impression
that was the gist I generally got
from McCain's acceptance speech
I didn't taste much real red meat
(just some carefully placed spice over
what he would do about
the main problems the country is having
the middle class and the economy seemed to
be completely left out much too conveniently)
just the same stale salad that keeps being
tossed about
for months he spoke of such inexperience
and then he goes and chooses a woman
with even less experience than the man
he has been maligning ad nauseam
an odd conundrum he's put himself in
is this the Blazing Saddles of Politics now
with McCain playing the part of Black Bart?
I just pray he doesn't fool the rest of the
country with this latest slight of hand
from 'lack of experience' ad man
to the subtle theft of 'I am your man of change'
such steaks may be gingerly laced with
that old time arsenic of say nearly anything
just to get elected into office
if Mr. McCain were not the oldest man
to enter the first term of Presidency
should he win
then the lack of experience
on the part of his running mate would not
seem to be so paramount
but due to his age that seems doubly so
now
and couple that with his abuse of the Obama
run for his contenders supposed 'lack of
experience' and still it went on when Biden
with his 36 years of experience coming with him
came into play
and this seems to make Mr McCain's choice seem sophomoric
almost
like he is snubbing his nose at the establishment
and seeing if he can get by with an even less than
experienced side kick.
that is a scary pill to swallow in a time of war
on two foreign fronts
and the women of the United States should
heed his warnings of the narrow and overly
extreme views on that combustible emotional
war waged upon the sore backs of Roe vs. Wade....................
