I think of you

in a cloudless haze

full of passion's

invigorating hue

even though I know

there are mighty recriminations

to such a phase

besides the fact that

you really don't want me to

think of you now in just that way

it is inexplicable

many souls succumb to the

very nuance of this

'Attraction's Shaky Arithmetic'

slowly unraveled

and bared so glaringly

to the nakedness of

just another stack of

posed configurations

on a page

sadly I fear that indeed

was/is/perhaps even still

shall be

all there ever is to be

of us

if even that I am allowed to

say..............................
