we gather respect in grandiose fervor

silencing self esteem given at any cost

failing to love one another

is man's dereliction of spiritual duty

yet many do not see such fall shorting

for what it is

that prevailing emptiness

that keeps the greater feelings of love

for thy fellow man from taking root

and becoming the very essence

that always was the self

we are in an unnumbered many bound

to each other one by one

the beauty lies in our abilities or there the lack of

to stumble upon this primary understanding

before our limited time on this time plane

is done

blessedly for all

God grades us on a curve

of his undying mercy and compassion

yes

and best of all
