dirty secrets

building upon

the abused backs

of the lower masses

China today

verses this war journal

here in a not so civil field

of drama

all our own (Iraq)

brewing further that pot of

should we? or should we not?

neither trusting the others' self

to look back objectively

and freshly examine

the blackest seconds

in their combined histories

ever thus ticking away

at the powerful craft

of something rare

saluting challenge while mostly

looking the other way

while behind those flowing red/yellow curtains

flapping away in the smog filled skies

human rights are shred and bled

beyond any westerner's recognition

to such atrocities

that are so interiorly condoned..............
