once upon a week

courage came

upon

a wild fire hood

first faithful greatness

ran into

where yesterday lived

illustrating all the way

to where an untamed heart beats

amid the hardscrabble congress

of inequality

blind submission gets up and walks

out

with that spoiler twilight holding

her impostor's hand

as night is

ink ably scary to encounter

when in total darkness

to the self

that is why

true fascination can only be

'Beguiled Once'.............
