the word 'WELL' never became so wide spread and

known

as when Jack Benny said it with such enthusiastic

precision in his haughty comedic tone

for his tight-fisted-ness with many a belly laugh

he made us uproariously groan

the man was a well timed genius

though his idiosyncrasies quite over blown

though the actual man himself died late in his

years in 1973

the legend will live on forever through syndicated

viewing of his old sitcom/variety show on T.V.

so, from all of us, 'Thanks Jack!'

you were the only guy who could ever wear a

two dollar suit and still look like a million

bucks

we love you still....................
