A PINCH OF WISDOM SPENT (MILDLY SHAKESPEARIAN IN IT'S TONE)

allowest me but a fraction of leisure

for that of constant threadbare

companions my muse

an abrupt retirement of subtlety would

somehow seem grossly most strange

but a private council with thy own altered

sense of reasoning is a decided certainty that

could easily enough come to be arranged

seeing as the audience of my carefully clad

creations

will not stand for any superfluous ruse

so now the shoes must indeed come off

I'll walk on ahead barefoot from here thank you

and with no further adornment

but bare in mind that even imperfection has its

pride

alas, well I think you finally get my point

which to put most simply is

not everyone in this world chooses to take the

obvious winner's side

and least of all do I.......................

Wow! did not realize till now that so early back I had attempted a Shakespeare like tone poem. This is a lovely discovery indeed!
