ours is

a fairytale of grace

distance covered

distance recalled

you and I made no argument

with each reality of

circumstance

for together we so easily

found

our own magical little place

you are

my next breath

my funniest rhyme

and orneriest laugh

that one constant thought that

never leaves my heart's fondest

sight

you are much light shining upon

my journey of the now

you have me keenly suspended

in your tomorrow's hopeful path

this can not be an enigma at all

to you

as I am the reckoning that

cradles your force

and we stand at a precipice

of timeless focus

friends always of course

but doubtless now too

just as much

man and woman

yet to be joined

on some near far plane of

oneness

and I find myself well acquainted

with this feeling

quite certainly you recognize the depth

of such a heart

bleeding onto this page from

these very words

choosing your eyes as they do

to assault with such meaning...........
