with a darkness of spell

that could shatter even fire

appearing as stark unity

for rearrangement

the masses from their hovels

crawl solemnly forth

goaded are they

sometimes

even by their own tattered

filthy appearance

if anyone would care enough to see

Earth too has its own version of

'The Dredges Of Hell'................
