why, its a passing of the spiritual torch if
you will
from Hope (Arkansas)Springs eternal exuberance
for our still yet young country
why, I was once a registered for Reagan
Republican but I'm now rooting for a liberal
Democrat
the country needs a younger man's guidance
politics has become much too much an old
man's blood
why, with our beloved Brady bill about to be
passed
an of the same old sorry welfare state
let's hope we've seen the last
much of no good has been said
especially in the mass company of over
indulged predatory reporters
like our new young President is the first
of many to be placed in the forward line
of the die hard last resorters
the country needs a firm young hand
not an old crippled one
instead of knocking the fellow
why, I say Good Luck Sir!
'cause with this crowd
