soap box heroes standing side by unsettled side

much too proudly proclaim the prices of freedom

as they themselves try so very hard to

unanimously swallow each his own imperfect pride

yet they so very silently choke on the bones

of their lies

as much too publicly they put on airs to stand

behind just what it is they each wish to so

desperately hide

each his deep, deep seated so very secretly guarded

individual weaknesses

fear and all her ignorant terrors so horribly

disfigured and sorely unrefined

two foul demons real and contrived

for it is commonly known

that inferior causes attract the vile parasites

that are prone to feed off of such inferior

social structures

and brutal are the vicious cycles that man allows

himself to be drawn into

and eventually

all too soon

devoured by

as hate

no matter how cleverly presented

or disguised

only procures
